Jaskaran Singh recognize by Karan Aujla (born 18 January 1997) is an Indian Punjabi singer, lyricist, and rapper known for his work in Punjabi music. Aujla is best known for the songs Don't Look, Chitta Kurta, Haan Hainge aa, Hint, and Sheikh. 14 of his singles as a lead artist have featured in UK Asian chart by Official Charts Company, while seven have featured in Global  YouTube music chart.

Karan Aujla started his career by writing lyrics Range Sung by  Jassi Gill from his album Replay - the return of melody. Later Aujla emigrates to Canada and wrote lyrics for various other artists including  Elly Mangat. Aujla released his debut song Property of  Punjab as a lead artist in 2016 and started featuring as a guest artist in songs. He came with his tracks like Yaarian Ch Fikk, Don’t Worry. Aujla achieved mainstream popularity in 2018 with Don't Worry, Karan’s first song to enter UK Asian chart. His singles Jhanjar, Red Eyes and Kya Baat Aa entered into top 10 in the chart in 2020.

Early life

Karan Aujla from Ghurala, Punjab, India. He was born on 18 January 1997 his father Balwinder Singh and mother Rajinder Kaur. Karan’s parents died when he was 9 years old. He was raised by his uncle and sisters after his parents died. While he studies in 9th standard he Starts writing songs, Then he met Jassi Gill in marriage and offered him the lyrics of the song Range, which Gill sang and became popular. Karan Aujla gets his Canadian permanent residency and emigrated there. He Completes his high school studies in Canada. He worked as a part-time in longshoreman, Surrey, British Columbia. In 2014 Karan Aujla's released his debut song Cell Phone with Mac Benipal, It was a commercial failure song, and have just a few thousand views. He started working with Deep Jandu in his studio at Toronto in Canada.

Career

Karan starts his career along with Elly Mangat and Deep Jandu. He wrote lyrics for various artists including Jassi Gill, Gagan Kokri, Elly Mangat, and Sukh-E. Aujla's written song Blessings of Bapu sung by Gagan Kokri was well received by the audience.He finally got his Success with the song Don't Worry, featuring Gurlez Akhtar. Don't Worry song's music video has been viewed over 100 million times on YouTube, 

Aujla's  Don't Look song remained in Asian Music Chart for more than 24 weeks. Karan Aujla released a title track for the film Sikander 2 In July 2019. Karan Aujla's Hint song trended for over five days on YouTube in India. The song was debut at number 13 on Asian music chart while at number 75 on Global, 27 in India, 9 in Canada, 14 in Australia, and 5 in New Zealand on YouTube charts respectively. He also become the most listened artist in Punjab on YouTube in December 2019, Aujla included by Spotify in the list of the most popular artists in Punjab. Also, Aujla was nominated for Best Punjabi Singer category at Gaana User's Choice award.
